Melbourne Cricket Ground
The Melbourne Cricket Ground or the MCG as it is more commonly known, is Australia’s most iconic sports stadium. It is one of the few sporting stadiums which possess and equally unique and illustrious history, having hosted various events from cricket, AFL, soccer, rugby union and rugby league matches.
Furthermore, it played a large role as one of the venues for both the 1956 Olympic Games and 2006 Commonwealth Games.
ANZ Stadium
Originally built for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, this has become one of Australia’s most popular sporting venues, hosting not only cricket matches, but also four different types of football games.
