What were you doing in your homecountry before you came to Australia ?


I had just finished my Industrial Engineering degree when I decided to come to Australia to improve my english and have a good time before starting my career.

The image that people have of Australia in Southamerica is about beach, nice weather, fun, young people, beautiful cities, safety, etc.

A 457 visa sponsored by my company, after 2 months in Sydney I found an Engineering oportunity




What sort of work did you do in Australia ? In which fields?


I am an engineeer, related to fire protection systems.

What is the most beautiful place in Australia to you?


Sydney




What was your favourite moment/event in Australia ?


The Australian open (Tennis), I had an amazing time and it was something that I had been wanting to do for a long time, and imposible to do in Southamerica because there are not any countries that host a grand slam there.




What do you think about Australians and life in Australia?


Best lifestyle in the world, from the beautiful, clean and operational cities, going through the job oportunities to the multiculturalism and warm people.




For how long do you intend to stay in Australia?


No plans of leaving !




If you were to give a piece of advice to someone coming to Australia, what would it be?


Try to get someone to help you in Australia (you can contact Australiance). Arriving to a new place can be very stresseful, if you can find support with someone in the country, everything will be easier.




What do you wish you knew before getting on the plane to Australia?


I wish I’d known more about visas and jobs.




If you were to do it again, what would you change?


Nothing, I have been very lucky !
