The Great Barrier Reef is one of Australia’s most breathtaking natural landmarks, and is the world’s largest coral reef. It is home to many form of unique marine life, types of coral and numerous islands. It has been included in the list of one of the seven wonders of the natural world. It is currently the only visible living thing which can be seen from space. Located on the Queensland coast, the reef itself stretches for more than 3000 km.
