Skilled Migrant Visa



Australia skilled migration visaThis visa is for people who have skills in particular occupations (see the Skilled Occupation List) required in Australia and who are not sponsored by an employer.
To be eligible for this visa, you must be less than 45 years old and have worked for at least 12 months out of the last 24 months before applying.


You must also have a good level of English (IELTS), and pass an exam to demonstrate your level of professional skills. You must also have worked in one of the occupations found on the Skilled Occupation List which is set by the Australian Government. The Skilled Migrant visa will enable you to live and work in Australia for a period of 5 years. There is also the possibility of applying for Australian Citizenship after four years of residence in Australia. The application process is both long and complex, and it is suggested that you apply through a Migration Agent.

Standard Business Sponsorship (Subclass 457)



Australia working visaThis visa is designed for employers wishing to employ an overseas worker in Australia for a qualified Australian job. Before applying, the applicant must have found his employer and received confirmation of employment and willingness to sponsor.




Before a (domestic or overseas) company is able to sponsor a skilled worker from overseas, it needs to meet certain employer eligibility requirements. This visa will allow you to live and work in Australia for up to 4 years. In most cases, it is the employer who will take financial obligation for the application fees for this visa. It is also necessary for the applicant to have a good command of the English language, and the salary must be above minimum wage. This visa can also be renewed. However, it is your responsibility to ensure your visa is valid at all times during the duration of your stay in Australia.


Business Visa



There are many types of business visa, however they generally cater to persons wishing to engage in business in Australia, for a period of up to 3 months. In general, application costs are between 20 and 100 Australian Dollars.
