Let The Pitch Begin - Event Highlights: Sydney Edition #22

The Startups&Angels, Sydney Edition #22 was a huge success, Startups & Angels, Sydney Edition #22 provided a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas and connect with investors. The event was attended by over 100 people and took place at the Tank Stream Lab providing ample networking opportunities to all participants.

The 5 startups that left a lasting impression on the audience during the evening were:

JP Koudou | Starty

All the way from France, Starty is a mobile based application that facilitates organisation of parties between individuals. Its vision is to become the go to platform for communities, individuals and corporates to host and meet people in local areas and beyond.

Hayley Saddington | Peak Medical

An AI and rehabilitation platform for osteoarthritis that is helping patients to check their mental and physical health at home. Its vision is to improve health experiences and outcomes and expand in the APAC region. 

Vinnie Romano |

An AI and machine learning platform that brings social selling to the masses on LinkedIn. It helps in expanding your reach and maximising your influence by bringing content curation, content creation and scheduling all in one place.

Stephanie Younes | Letsfindlove

An AI personalised platform for online dating that ensures a higher success rate. Mental health support and providing communication resources for singles is at the core of the application.

Jenifer Andre | Kitchko

An online marketplace connecting people to local home cooks who craft delicious and authentic cuisine. The food-orientated platform is built to streamline the process for both chefs and customers locally.

The founders also had the opportunity to connect with a panel of experts, including Hiam Sakakini, CEO and Founder of The Culture Equation (moderator for the evening), Joseph Harding, Startup Advisor and Accelerator Lead at Hyper, Kylie Frazer, Co-Founder and Partner at Flying Fox Ventures, and Patrick Stewart, State Manager NSW and National Sales Lead at Radium Capital.

The panel shared some valuable insights with the founders present in the room:
